Hi friends! I'm trying to figure out if I should go for a glue-down method or a floating installation for my new parquet. My cousin tried a floating floor and said it was simpler, but I've heard glue-down can provide better stability. Last time I did a DIY project, I used nails, which was pretty time-consuming. Any recommendations based on your experiences?

I worked with both glue-down and floating floor methods (click-lock) with parquet floor, the former was faster, and the latter more solid. It is simply a matter of preference between easy DIY and longer-life bond. Personally, the skills even got me thinking that, is carpentry a good career uk, as it is so practical and rewarding and, as well, a good career path.
