Working in agile teams for a while now, but keeping everything aligned across multiple squads is tougher than I expected. It’s tempting to just pick a random course online, but has anyone found a program that actually teaches real team-level agile skills, rather than focusing only on theory? Looking for something that helps you apply what you learn immediately.

One program that really stood out for me is the Scaled Agile team certification. This isn’t one of those generic courses—you actually work through exercises simulating multi-team scenarios in SAFe, which makes it super practical. It covers team roles, planning, and how your squad interacts with others in a larger agile setup. Completing it gave me a clear idea of how to tackle coordination issues, anticipate dependency problems, and contribute effectively to the bigger picture. Colleagues who took it reported immediate improvements in how their teams planned and executed sprints, so it’s worth considering if hands-on application matters to you.
